Precipice Walk
The Precipice Walk is a half an hour drive from Rhianfa House, close to the town of Dolgellau. It is a 6km circular walk taking you around Foel Cynwch which is an elevated path looking out towards the surrounding mountains of Snowdonia and looking down the Mawddach Estuary. This bit of the walk does have narrow places and rocky terrain but is mostly flat. The path also goes alongside Llyn Cynwch which is more sheltered but still offers stunning views of the lake and the mountains in the distance. This path can get busy in the summer months but is worth the visit!
